WHIT + BRAD: INVITATIONS
It has been a busy couple of weeks. Between my brother-in-law being in town, then my wonderful in-laws, compiled with an insane work schedule, I have not had time to post about anything (much less even turn my computer on)!
Whitney came to me a few months ago, to create a logo for her wedding, and then her save the dates. And now I can't believe I just received my invitation in the mail a few weeks ago for her wedding!
These invites were so fun to make. First, I started with the actual invitation, which is a 6"x6" square, complete with Whitney's chevron pattern and wedding logo on the back. Then came a map of Park City, where all of the wedding activities would be happening. I hand-drew the actual map, and then scanned the artwork in to label the final piece. Additional information is on the ceremony card, and printed on the interior of the invitation wrap.
Whit wanted something unique to connect all the pieces. So I came up with an outer wrap, that held each of the interior pieces. The wrap also included the rsvp, and a song-request card, which is then meant to be torn off with the perforation and then mailed back, in the pre-addressed envelope.
I had so much fun making these, and Whitney has been so organized with getting everything together and ready for me to design. I am so pumped to start working on all of the signage that will be at the actual wedding. It will be fantastic!
