DANIELLE + DANNY: AN ENGAGEMENT GIFT
It's been a tough week in the Woolley house. Last night, a faucet broke in our bathroom and we had the unfortunate luck of having to call a plumber, which took (without exaggeration) over six hours. Top that off with a less-than-stellar work week for both the hubby and myself, mixed in with some family drama, and you have two exhausted individuals. Sometimes, a blog post is just what I need to get me out of a funk.
This week's blog post goes out to one of my best friends: Danielle Holt. She came to me with a predicament - she wasn't a fan of her invitations and wanted to know if I could help her create something that fit her style. She sent me some inspiration, and we came up with the following final piece. D loves purple, and glitter, and we came up with a little band enclosure to keep her invitation set together. On top of that, D, myself, and one of her bridesmaids lined her envelopes with silver and purple glitter envelope liners. Needless to say, there was a lot of glitter... which ended up all over our house! Jon and I laughed for days as we found purple or silver specs on our feet, pillows, couch, or faces. Even with all that glitter, I felt so blessed to have helped D make her invitation dreams come true. Here's to hoping your wedding day brings you just as much joy as these invites. D, Schmitty, Schmidt, Big Red, Ruth, Fifteen, I love you and am so happy to have contributed to your special day! Can't wait to celebrate with you! xxx
