ERIN + BEN: INVITATIONS
I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends asking me to design pieces for them! Erin was a first-time client for me, but I have been a long-time client of her's (Erin has been cutting my hair for several years and is an incredible stylist). Over the years that I have sat in her chair, she has heard how my business has grown: from when I first started designing invitations for friends, to when I actually became an official business... and she always insisted when she got married, I would help create her invitations.
When Erin started talking about Ben, I knew that this was something really, really special. When he proposed, I was over the moon for the two of them to begin their lives together. The next step? Invitations. :)
Erin had a clear idea in mind of what she wanted - she wanted a piece that included the flowers she planned on having at the wedding, yet also highlighting the coral and gold colors she had chosen as well.
The following is what we came up with. Each piece, with the exception of the postcard RSVP, had a separate custom back adhered to it, that was printed and then assembled to the invitation to create a bit of depth and elevate the design. Erin then wrapped the entire suite in lace and tied with a coral bow to enclose it inside the envelope. We also purchased coral envelopes, and I designed custom liners as well.
Erin was meticulous with every detail - even down to the gold seal on the back to close the envelopes. This bespoke invitation suite was absolutely devine, and I loved being able to help Erin with it! More beautiful details from their wedding coming to the blog soon!
