SHOWERING A SOON-TO-BE MRS

We have had a busy year so far, and it's about to get even busier. I've had a lot of things on my mind for this business of late: like connecting and collaborating with other like-minded business owners, expanding our product line, and even showcasing at a tradeshow or two this year (yikes)!

But for all of these exciting things that are coming up, I'm also a little bit scared...okay let's make that terrified, of all of the challenges and unknowns that I know are going to pop up along the way. And let's be real; I'm incredibly impatient and my pending to-do list is a mile and a half long. All I want to do is spend every waking moment working on it, and finish it all by next week (not likely). But there are only so many hours in the day, and there are other things that have to take priority, like actual clients and a full-time job. Jonathan has been so incredibly supportive, and he keeps reminding me that these improvements for the business don't have to happen overnight. Trying to keep that in mind this week.

One of my first-ever clients for this business was Anne. She has always believed in me, and every once in awhile, she surprises me and orders something out of the blue. I love working with Anne. She tells me what she needs and then turns me loose to create whatever comes to mind. That's exactly how these bridal shower materials came along. Anne sent me a couple of items of inspiration, and mentioned that she wanted a little bit of a Colorado feel, since she was hosting in Denver. So, I designed the following invites, liners, cake topper, drink flags, and champagne favors for the soon-to-be Mrs. Chapelle Ryon's bridal shower.

So, before I sign off, and wish you all a very happy and healthy summer, and a Happy Fourth of July, I'll leave you with this. This verse has always meant a lot to me, but whenever I am feeling particularly overwhelmed, it always comes to mind:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
— Philippians 4.6

Hope that brings you some hope this week! Alright, I really meant it: Happy Summer, and Happy Fourth of July. Go enjoy a BBQ and some sparklers this weekend!

xoxo,
