NICOLE + DAVID
So, I am really excited. Like super excited about all of the wonderful things coming to the blog in the near future. I just cannot wait to share them with the internets! This one has been on the to-do list for while now.
This suite for Nicole and David really came together. Nicole wanted the flowers from her wedding (garden roses and peonies) to be a part of her invitation suite, and she wanted a very subtle pink included, which I added to the background as well. The following is the entire suite that was created (plus a couple of extras!).
Each of the renderings on the invitation suite were hand drawn: the flowers on all of the pieces, as well as the map. Nicole picked the paper bag envelope color, and then I added the accent of the goldenrod for the enclosure wrap and the envelope liner. I also included a sticker for the envelope addresses, which I really love doing for big suites.
If you're not going to hand-write each of the names, the wrap-around sticker for the labels is really the way to go. It's super classy, and more unique than even the average printing directly onto the envelopes. Plus, it doesn't waste any envelopes that inevitably get eaten during the printing process. Score! So enjoy this suite - I really loved seeing this one come together.
