In April of 2015, Jonathan and I took a trip to Yosemite National Park. Neither one of us had been, and we thought it would be a great opportunity to experience it together. I can't remember when we had found out, but I was actually pregnant for the first time, during this trip and do remember being really excited for our first ultrasound, a few days afterward.

When we went to that appointment, however, we found out our sweet babe didn't have a heartbeat. Looking back at this trip, it always marks the start of our miscarriage story. Maybe that's why it's taken me so long to look at pictures and get this video completed.

Now that Sebastian is here, I look at this trip very differently. Yes, this trip reminds me of that miscarriage and all of the heartache we went along with it. But I also now remember how truly incredible Yosemite was, and how I cannot wait to share it with my son. So here it is, finally, almost two years later: our Yosemite video.
